It is no secret in my house….I LOVE bread. I have been like that since I can remember. I learned early on, that not all breads are created equally. I think at times I am probably kind of a bread snob in a way….it has to have the right taste and texture or else I just won’t eat it. Homemade bread is my favorite..something about the smell of baking bread in the house just makes me happy. I try and make bread at least once a week, hopefully more. Victoria loves helping in the kitchen with baking. I use it as a fun bonding experience and also a cooking/math lesson as well. I love when everyday life experiences can be translated into fun hands on learning as well.
I have a few of my all time favorite bread recipes that I go to for my bread addiction needs but I love to find new yummy ones as well. I got an email from King Arthur Flour the other day with some great recipes on it for the holiday season. What really got me to look at them was the fact that these recipes could be made and then put in the freezer for easy use another day. Since we are quite busy during the week, this was def. my cup of tea. I have made quite a few things from the King Arthur site and I have never been disappointed. Their homemade soft pretzel recipe is amazing and really quick and easy to do.
This recipe that we made today was for homemade rolls.
Here is the link to their recipe:

I cooked mine in a springform pan and that worked perfectly. The hardest part was letting them cool for ten mins or so before eating them up {they smelled so good!} 🙂
One thing I loved about this recipe was how easy it was to do and the fact that you let the machine do all the hard work for you. Love those no knead by hand recipes!
These rolls are so soft and delicious ….just looking at the photos I am uploading is making me want another one! lol
We had them with soup but they would be great with tons of different dinners, or for breakfast or lunch sammys, or just for snacking on with some peanut butter or jam. Personally I think just adding a little homemade butter is enough. 🙂
I am thinking breakfast tomorrow with some eggs and cheese…..yum!
These rolls look delicious. I love baking bread too. I look forward to trying this recipe, thanks for sharing! Allia
They are really yummy, I’m looking forward to making a bigger batch this week so we can have them for leftovers for after Thanksgiving 😀
